A True Las Vegas Legacy To Leave...

In 2006, Tyrone Seals, an average father and husband with multiple years of working in the funeral home industry started to reflect on his life as thoughts passed through his mind about legacy.  What will be his legacy? How will he be recorded into the annals of history? He thoughts became his  dream to one day create a funeral home where the average working class person could experience a quality funeral service at an economic price.  This dream because his heartbeat and passion as he wanted to make a difference by providing the greater Las Vegas and ultimately Nevada an alternative to the current funeral home options.

Understanding the birth of a precious dream would need visionaries that were equally passionate about helping others, Tyrone Seals introduced this vision to his wife Larnique Mickenss-Seals and together they created a picture-perfect plan for developing an unconventional funeral home that addresses the need of the underserved market, with upscale service and products. The two became the founders and operators of Heritage Mortuary, where the name derived from wanting to leave a legacy for those they love.

After six years of planning and developing a special market forte; Seals and Mickens-Seals developed a community driven plan to help families live a holistic life of wellness through the provision of health, legal and financial education and resources, as they understand the lack of any of the following could create the catalyst to health problems which leads to untimely demise of those they are to serve. The birth of Heritage Mortuary, whose name derived from the “American Dream” to leave a legacy for those loved and left behind, provided a blueprint to an unconventional funeral home that places emphasis on providing quality, affordable choices to families.
